The final mixing of this piece was done with Digidesign Session8 system, an 882 I/O audio interface and Session8 software.

Recording of Paul Geladi's You though 3.1415926 A. The main material used in this work are sounds of Chinese instruments and was made in the Li Yuan theatre in Beijing. This theatre specializes in tourist-adapted Beijing opera. Short percussive sounds were made longer and long continuous tones were shortened to become percussive.

Recording of Andy Birtwistle's Steel II. This work celebrates and mourns the failure of the Modernist dream represented by poet, Geoffrey Bridson's, 1937 broadcast: "Steel: An Industrial Symphony". It also captures the sound of an optimistic, heroic Modernist in the 21st century and how the new century would sound in contrast to the last.

Recording of Denis Dufour's L'aile de l'abeille. This work expresses the idea of coming into a new millennium with a history that has been reconstructed and stigmatized. The composer gives a special thanks to Agnès Poisson for the sound recordings used, This work was produced at Motus studio.

Recording of Roxanne Turcotte's Rêveries absolues. This work premiered at the 30th Synthse Festival in Bourges as part of the utopic sounds of the next millennium concert. This work is based on the idea of memories and nostalgia fueling the future and uses sound materials that reflect that.

Recording of Anatoly Kisselev's Onwards towards a monkey-type human. In this work the composer reflects on the tendencies of a developing society and comes to the conclusion that in this society mankind reverts back to a primitive state and lives under animal law.

Recording of Klaus Röder's Meditation über ein Gebet. This work is based on the Lord's Prayer which the composer feels expresses his hope for the coming millennium. The sounds are meant to simulate the spoken work and were made with a speech synthesis module.
