["Benny Andrew's: The Visible Man" artist talk]
Video footage of an artist talk with a signed VHS box from artist Benny Andrews titled "The Invisible Man". The artist talk coverers Andrew's life, education, and studio practice to place him in the context of black working artists in America in the 20th century. Andrews's work covers "people at work" and the role the individual plays in society through collage and painting. Benny spoke at an event hosted by the Junior Black Academy of Arts and Letters from June 5 to August 28, 1999, at the James E. Kemp Gallery in Dallas Texas. Recording of Andrea Szigetvari's La Coquille et le Clergyman. This is an electroacoustic work that was created to accompany a video of scenes from the silent movie "La Coquille et le Clergyman" by Germain Dulac. The composer attempted to express the inner selves of the characters with the music. The video includes a compilation of scenes from the black and white film, highlighting critical scenes in the movie.

Performance of Lai Haraoba pena ballads and dance
Video of a festival featuring dance and pena performances. Elders are shown assembling the pena. Pena cholom is where a group of pena balladeers play together organized by ranks where the highest ranking balladeer plays first, and so on. The structure and components of the pena are described. Other instruments similar to the pena are shown, like tingteila of the Tangkhuls, and Laa of Kabui (Rongmei). The final segment includes a voice-over in English describing spirituality and symbolism of pena culture in Manipur, and the Lai Haraoba celebration.
