Interview with Amos Lee Smith, a rancher from Center Point, Texas. Mr. Smith tells stories from his childhood, the years during the Depression, sheep ranching, his various occupations, and his activity in the local Methodist church.

Interview with Amos Lee Smith, a rancher from Bandera County for the Kerr County Historical Commission Oral History Project. The interview includes his experiences during the Depression, as well as his life as a rancher, a butcher shop owner, and employee of Continental Oil Company.

Interview with Connie Douglas Reeves, named Texas Woman of the Century, from Kerrville, Texas. Mrs. Reeves talks about her life in Eagle Pass and San Antonio Texas, her education as the only female in her law school class, her career as a high school schoolteacher, and her horseback riding experience at Camp Waldemar. She describes organizing a girls' riding group, called "The Lassos," with whom she performed at the World's Fair in New York in 1938 and Washington D.C. Mrs. Reeves also briefly discusses the sheep ranching she did with her husband, Jack Reeves, the flood of 1928, and the flood of 1932.

Interview with Frankie Rosita Holdsworth Hollar, a 99 year old Mexican woman who immigrated to Kerrville, Texas. Mrs. Hollar is almost 100 years old at the time of the interview. Her family were some of the early residents of Kerrville and Kerr County, and her younger sister, Mary, eventually married Mr. H. E. Butts (founder of HEB). One of the oldest surviving members of the community, she describes her education, her career as a teacher, and how the area has changed over the years.

Interview with Melba Lee Williams, a former professor and descendant of some of the first settlers in Kerr County, from Kerrville, Texas. In this interview, Mrs. Crate relates how her great-grandparents came with Joshua Brown (Texas pioneer) to the first shingle camp established on the banks of the Guadalupe, in what later became Kerrville. Mrs. Crate briefly details her early life in Bandera, Texas, as well as Kerrville. She also recounts her memories of the flood of 1932.

Interview with Matias Garcia Rodriguez, the reverend for Calvary Baptist Church, from Kerrville, Texas. Rev. Rodriguez discusses the history of Mexico as it relates to Texan history, including stories about his great-grandfather, Jose Policarpo "Polly" Rodriguez, an early pioneer of the Texas Hill Country. He goes through his own family history, family stories, his service in WWII, his education, and the people and places in Kerrville.
