These Chinese delegates came to Dallas to observe and earn about a the NTIEVA program that uses art to improve public schools. The delegates are Yang Li, Deputy Director General for the Department of Physical Health and Art Education, Yang Ruimin, Secretary General for State Art Education Commission, Lu Zhaoxiang, Chief of Shaanxi Provincial Education Commission, Wang Jun, Program Officer for Beijing Municpal Education Commission, and Wei Liqing, Chief of Division of American and Oceanic Affairs. On Wednesday, June 11, the delegates are to arrive to Los Angeles at 9:15 am. They are to visit the J. Paul Getty Museum in Malibu at 2:00pm. On June 12 they are to meet with Mr. Williams, President of the J. Paul Getty Trust and tour the Getty Center. On June 14 the delegates will depart Los Angeles at 6:49am and arrive at Dallas at 11:45am to then depart from Dallas at 12:46pm to arrive at Omaha at 2:44pm.
