A letter from Alfred F. Hurley, Chancellor, University of North Texas, to D. Jack Davis, Vice Provost, UNT, Co-Director of the North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts, about granting the North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts temporary exception from UNT's publication policies in regards to NTIEVA stationary and business cards. Hurley attaches a copy of the full policy and request a written rationale for a standing variance. The second document is a policy excerpt for the use of long-held symbols or artwork specific to a department of UNT. The third document is the start of the policy manual of UNT in regards to University Communication, Marketing and Publication Policy.
