Jay Gates, the director of the Dallas Museum of Art is contributing in a collaborative project to build art education computer software for schoolchildren. In regards to having staff faculty from the Marcus Foundation Board invited to the January conference as Melba Whatley is concerned about educating the board and feels like the conference would be a good opportunity. Davis understands, however, that not all the board members are able to attend due to the limited spacing the Getty Center has but would appreciation anything they can put together.
