A collection of letters by army Dr. L. D. Collins from his tour of duty in World War II with the 56th Evacuation Hospital, chronicling his experiences and general history of WWII. He includes letters from his time stationed in Morocco, Tunisia, Italy, and Anzio Beach.

Blouse of beige silk with vibrant print of green cactus with yellow flowers, fuchsia/maroon fruit and leaves, and large sombreros in yellow, green, and fuchsia/maroon. Short sleeves. Center front opening with 5 circular simulated mother of pearl shank buttons and barred buttonholes. Unlined. Designer's label at center back neckline: "Times Seven / 7 / Todd Oldham" Content/care/size label at left side seam near hem.

Suit of dark taupe wool(?) fabric with horizontal "crinkle" texture and scattered reflecting threads. A) Jacket. Waist length with a low Mandarin/standing/band collar with rounded neckline. Long sleeves and center front opening with no closures. Princess seaming, with slit pockets concealed within the seams. Sleeves end with 3" slit at cuffs with rounded corners and a single stitch about 2" in which pull it together. Lined in gray synthetic(?) Designer's label at center back neckline: "Oscar de la Renta / Pink Label" Retailer's label at left side opening near waist: "Neiman Marcus" B) Skirt. Knee-length slightly A-line skirt with left side zipper and hook-and-eye and short darts at waist. Lined in gray synthetic(?) as jacket.
