Duke responds that she wants to think about this request as they are only given a specific amount of copies, so as to not undercut the National PTA who sells copies of the kit. Duke will consider Laney's request if she sends a draft of the cover letter the Texas Institute would receive with the kits. Copied on the letter is Jack Davis, Bill McCarter and Vicki Rosenberg.

Photocopy of a letter from Jack Davis to Bill McCarter, co-directors of North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts, to Jay Gates, Director for the Dallas Museum of Art. In regards to an invitation from North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts, NTIEVA to welcome Gates to the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex. Davis and McCarter describe to Gates, that within the past four years the Dallas Museum of Art has been in their consortium, comprised of five museums and six school districts, for discipline-based art education and implementation. Majority of their funding comes from the Getty Center for Education in the Arts, as the Center represents the comprehensive approach to art education. Davis and McCarter write that while they had a pleasure working with Gail Davitt and Aileen Horan, they are looking forward to their work with Gates.

Photocopy of a letter from Nancy Reynolds, Project Coordinator of North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts, to Linda Eshom, Art Consultant for Corpus Christi ISD. In regards to Eshom's assistance during the four day seminar. Reynolds writes that they have reserved the days of June 28 - July 1 and July 5 - 8, 1994 for Corpus Christi to discuss future seminars and the ways to best serve the teachers. Reynolds continues that Dr. William Otten is interested in bringing NTIEVA to speak at the Art Museum of South Texas, and that possibly Eshom can reach out to him to coordinate efforts. Enclosed with the letter are information Reynolds believes will be useful for Eshom. The attachments are, Fees for the Institute Presentations, Human Commonalities list, copy of NTIEVA's consortium members, and their list of goals.

Tavel writes from National Taiwan University in Taipei, where, thanks to a Fulbright scholarship, he has landed a teaching position. He thanks Houston for a copy of one his plays, The Marquise. He goes on to talk about his upcoming job in Taipei and gives Houston the address of his brother, Harvey Tavel, where royalty checks for production of a play can be sent. He encloses a xeroxed newspaper clipping of one his stage plays, Notorious Harik Will Kill the Pope.
