Funeral arrangements were made through Sutton-Sutton Mortuary and she was buried in Southern Memorial Park in San Antonio, Texas.

Funeral program for Emmanuel Sorrell, born April 14, 1937. The funeral was held December 22, 1992 at Friendship Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. R. L. Archield. Funeral arrangements were made through the Lewis Funeral Home and he was buried in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery near San Antonio, Texas.

Letter from Park Chambers, Tim Doud, and Lawrence Steger of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago to Sterling Houston, prominent San Antonio playwright. They write to thank him for allowing them to house his documentation. It appears that Mr. Houston's contribution was helpful to an exhibition titled Private/Public. The School of the Art Institute played a seemingly large role in the exhibit as well.
