Dupree discusses growing up in Old North Dallas, his initial interest in music, different jobs, joining the Army and working as a mechanic with the Tuskegee Airmen in WWII, forming a band, performing solo at nightclubs, his marriage and family, moving to Hamilton Park, church life, neighborhood developments, and the Civic League.
