Included in the rest of the document is DBAE, what it looks like in the classroom, the Getty Center for Education in the Arts: Fall 1988 publication, making art important for every child, brochures for the Getty Center for Education in the Arts and Getty Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts, state facilitators, improving instruction in visual arts education and successful programs to be used at schools.

The exercise is part of an experiment research program in music, visual arts and creative writing by Harvard University's Project Zero, the Educational Testing Services and Pittsburgh Public Schools known as Arts Propel.
