Copy negative of a note to F. W. Bonner & Son Bank which reads: "$6.86 Rusk, Cherokee Co. Texas, April 7, 1885. On or before the first day of September, 1885 for value received we promise to pay to Geo. D. Neel for the use * benefit of P. Jewell & Bro. Six & 8/100 Dollars at Bonners' Bank, Rusk Texas, with 12 per cent interest per annum from Jany 1, 85 until paid. If not paid at maturity, and place in the hands of an Attorney for collection, or if sued upon, ten per cent to be added to the amount of this Note and interest as collecting fee." The note has been marked "paid".
