[An exterior detail at the Ashton Depot in Fort Worth]

The focus of the photo is a brick wall with four visible, arched windows. Obscuring the view from said wall is a metal fence that stands very close to the camera. Another wall also obscured the view of the brick one, and it is marked by time with peeling paint and scuffs all over it. A lamppost sits on top of this wall.

[A deteriorating building in the Fort Worth Stockyards]

Photograph of a deteriorating building in the Fort Worth Stockyards. Designed in the Spanish/Old West style, this brick building had been plastered over in its time to create a smooth finish. The photo shows how the plaster has started to come off, exposing the brick once more. Each visible window is arched and has pointed arches outlining them. The walls themselves do not appear to be crumbling, it is just the plaster casing that is falling away. A street runs in front of the building, a small lamppost sits on the side of it, and a telephone pole stands tall above the building to the right of the photo.
