Introduction: A dependable water supply is required for Naval Magazine Lualualei, Waikele Branch. The water supply for Naval Magazine Lualualei, Waikele Branch, Oahu, Hawaii has been dependent on Oahu Sugar Co.'s water for many years. Because the supply of water from Oahu Sugar Co. is not always dependable, in March 1982, the Pacific Division of the Naval Facilities Engineering Command entered into a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Geological Survey to determine the productivity and water quality of an abandonment Navy well.
