[Columns outside of the U.S. Post Office Central]

Photograph of columns outside of the U.S. Post Office Central located at 251 W. Lancaster Avenue in Fort Worth. There are enough columns to cover the length of the front wall. The columns are smooth and rounded, with Grecian inspired capitals. The capitals are very decorative, and attach to the roof of the building. Two wrought iron lamp posts stand on the sides of an entryway closer to the camera. Four small steps lead up to a landing, presumably an entrance into the building. This landing is lined by short walls made of thick, polished stone blocks with a Grecian, geometric pattern carved into a band around the top.
