[Atrium at the Emily Fowler Public Library]

Upper level of the Emily Fowler Library, Denton Public Library as viewed from the west end of the atrium. This picture was taken before the library's reopening. On the left side (north) of the photo books are stacked on the floor waiting to be shelved. On the right side (south), four panels of carvings by Lynn Ford, lean against a wall waiting to be hung. The plants in the atrium were maintained by the Denton Garden Culture Club who also funded the project. Ten white pendant lamps made by the Beaumont Mood Lighting Co. of San Antonio, hang from a wooden ceiling.
