From abstract: Jurassic ammonites of late Bathonian to middle Callovian Age have been found in 12,000-13,000 feet (3,660-3,960 m) of strata exposed in the area near and south of Izee and Seneca in east-central Oregon. Ammonites of early Callovian Age and possibly also late Bathonian Age occur in several hundred feet of black shale exposed along Dennett Creek near Mineral, Idaho. Early Callovian ammonites also occur in similar black shale exposed on the Oregon side of Snake River Canyon about 32 miles (52 km) south of the northeast corner of Oregon.

Final report of the airborne gamma ray and total magnetic field survey for the Grangeville quadrangle, Idaho-Oregon-Washington. From introduction: The data presented here are reconnaissance data intended for use in identifying broad areas for further study. While care has been taken to provide reliable sampling and analyses, verification of individual analyses is beyond the scope of this report. The data should be viewed statistically because "one-point anomalies" may be misleading. Regional trends, however, should be reliable. This report is one of a series presenting data obtained by SRL reconnaissance.

Abstract: Field and laboratory data are presented for 410 water samples and 702 sediment samples from the Preston Quadrangle, Wyoming; Idaho. Uranium values have been reported by Los Alamos National Laboratory in Report GJBX-70(78). The samples were collected by Los Alamos National Laboratory; laboratory analysis and data reporting were performed by the Uranium Resource Evaluation Project at Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

The identification of environments favorable for uranium deposition involved collection and interpretation of radiometric, geochemical, and geologic data."

From abstract: All geologic conditions in the Dillon Quadrangle (Montana and Idaho) have been thoroughly examined, and, using National Uranium Resource Evaluation criteria, environments are favorable for uranium deposits along fractured zones of Precambrian Y metasediments, in the McGowan Creek Formation, and in some Tertiary sedimentary basins.
