[The arches at the First Methodist Church]

Panoramic photograph of the arches at the First United Methodist Church located at 800 W 5th Street in Fort Worth. There are five arches lining each side of a walkway, and the camera is looking at the side of said walkway. Each arch is attached to large, sturdy columns that have beveled edges. Small stone blocks fill in the gaps between the arch tops and the roof of the walkway. Through the first set of arches, the other set can be seen, looking identical to the first. Through both sets of arches, a small courtyard connects different entrances to the church. It is a paved courtyard with tall, skinny trees and various bushes and shrubs. A row of box hedge flanks the sides of the arches, leaving one arch clear for an entrance. The floor of the walkway is stone, with smaller, darker stones creating a large grid pattern. Vines creep up the walls on either side of the 5 arches closest to the camera. There are two short sets of stairs in the courtyard, likely leading to an entrance into the church.

[Auditorium at Lily B Clayton Elementary School]

Between the fence and house is a great span of mown grass. Right up next to the house, various shrubs and low-growing plants create a flowerbed. A large bush has grown up to reach to roofline. The house itself is lightly colored and made out of wood. The wrap-around porch has ornate corbels attached to each post, creating an arch-like silhouette. The roof is pitched in certain areas, with more corbels attached at the peaks. Photograph of the Lily B. Clayton Elementary School located at 2000 Park Place Avenue in Fort Worth. The school is made out of different colored bricks stacked in a staggered pattern. A wide staircase leads up to the entrance. The steps are made of concrete, and the handrails are a continuation of the staircase's support walls, and are made of the same brick from the rest of the building. There is a small arched door leading to underneath the stairs. It is on the left side of the staircase. The double doors into the school are wooden and each have twelve rectangular windows on the top 2/3. Six square windows run along the top of the doorframe. The actual doorway is framed by two columns that connect to an ornate shelf above the school's name. The columns are Grecian inspired. Above the shelf, a window with nine panes sits in a Grecian window frame with a triangular "roof line" above it. [The exterior of the Will Rogers Memorial Center]

Photograph of the Will Rogers Memorial Center located at 3401 Lancaster Avenue in Fort Worth. The building is tall, and is connected to a large tower. The section of the center that is most prominent in the photograph stands to the left. It is made out of large stone blocks. Doorways are inset into the building, creating a two-dimensional façade. The sections of the building that stand out are carved to resemble Greek columns, with grooves going down the lengths of each column five times. A set of double doors is set into each depressed section of the building, the ones closest to the camera are under a doorway that says "WILL ROGERS." Glass blocks extend above each doorway, reaching to the same height as the grooved stone. Each glass section is five blocks across. At the top of this building, a tiled mural depicting various farm and pilgrim images. Spotlights sit on top of the building, aiming down to its surroundings. A shorter section of the center connects the building to the tower. A small section of landscaping rests in front of it. This area consists of a tall tree, three saplings, and various short plants.

[Exterior of the YWCA in Fort Worth]

Photograph of the YWCA building in Fort Worth, now known as the Center for Transforming Lives, located at 512 W 4th Street. The stone staircase leading up to the entrance gets wider at the bottom and curved handrails on all but the bottom three steps. Landscaping flanks the staircase with a small tree on either side. Photograph of the façade of Tarrant County Courthouse located at 100 E Weatherford Street in Fort Worth. The building has a large staircase made out of stone blocks leading up to the entrance. The steps are made of concrete, and the large staircase has been divided into two sections by a short wall of the same stone. [The façade of the Stockyards Hotel]

Photograph of the façade of the Stockyards Hotel, located at 109 East Exchange Avenue in Fort Worth. The building is made of brick and built in the Old West architecture style. Geometric patterns of triangles create a band around the upper portion of the building. The roofline gradually rises slightly in the middle with small steps of increasing height.
