Letter from Mario Marcel Salas, president of the Black Coalition on Mass Media (BCMM), to an unidentified publication. It is written in response to a letter that was sent by "C.O." in which he proposed that mixed marriages be stopped. Mr. Salas hopes that such blatant racism will one day be eradicated.

Handwritten minutes from the May 18, 1975 meeting of the San Antonio chapter of The Links, Inc. Discusses the chapter's correspondence, treasury and budget reports, committee activities, new officers, and other business.

Letter from James Polk Morris, Assistant Professor of the History of Medicine at the Institute for the Medical Humanities, to Edith M. Bonnet relating a conversation they had on the phone regarding Charlotte Schaefer's family. He goes on to discuss those family members who were in attendance; Morris plans to get in touch with Schaefer's niece "to get family genealogy."

Memorandum from James Polk Morris, Assistant Professor of the History of Medicine at the Institute for the Medical Humanities, to Edith M. Bonnet explaining the importance of preserving her personal papers. Morris stresses that her papers be inventoried "for potential historical value," keeping them at the Eugene Barker State Historical Center. This memo includes Dr. Chester R. Burns, Dr. Truman R. Blocker, Jr., and Emil F. Frey as recipients as well.

Funeral program for Mr. James Durand, died May 20, 1975. The funeral was held May 23, 1975 at Second Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend S. H. James. The funeral arrangements were made through Lewis Funeral Home and he was buried in Dignowity Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.

Funeral program for Sister Mattie G. McElroy, died May 14, 1975. The funeral was held Saturday, May 17, 1975 at Friendship Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Claude W. Black, Jr. Funeral arrangements were made through Carter-Taylor Mortuary and she was buried in Eastview Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
