Photograph of a watershed critical area. Severe gullying as created by salt water and oil field pollution. The soil was left bare and completely free of protective cover for several years allowing severe erosion to occur. The area will be fenced, tilled, mulched and seeded to tall wheatgrass and other salt tolerant grasses to attempt re-vegetation. OK-4081-9.

Photograph of watershed, aerial view looking south in Okmulgee. Severe erosion caused by salt water and oil well polution. Waterways have been constructed on each side to divert overhead runoff. The area will be fenced in, smoothed, tilled, mulched and seeded with tall wheatgrass and other salt tolerant grasses. OK-4081-14.
