Purchased 1900 by Thomas M. Campbell (1856-1923), famous lawyer, banker, governor of Texas in 1907-1911. Enlarged by Gov. Campbell, house is now property of great-grandson, Drew Wommack, Jr. Recorded Texas Historic Landmark - 1969.

Photograph of a statue of John H. Reagan that resides in Reagan Park in Palestine. Statue was created by Pompeo Coppini originally commission in 1906 by the Daughters of the Confederacy. The statue was eventually placed on a base that had been moved from Avenue A to Reagan Park and the completed project was dedicated 1911.
