Grimshaw's article "Interpreting Collective Violence" and expressing his belief in the importance of the police being fair and impartial, especially when it comes to minority groups. He asks Stanforth to ensure that this is the case in the Galveston police department and make it known to the public, instead of being "convinced of [their] own virtue".
