Suede ensemble

Woman's two piece suit of bright violet blue suede. A)Jacket styled with two piece convertible collar and center front opening with two round covered buttons; curved lower edge. Full sleeves with tucked caps and ruffled cuffs with suede bow and tie and rosette of beading at knot. Princess seams front and back bodice. Swirled line of glass bugle and round beads in colors (includes blue, pink, and bronze tones) from one side front to other, behind neckline. Beading also at rosettes behind collar base and opening edge to curve. Fully lined with pale blue dobby dot patterned silk lining fabric. Total length: 24 " (62.3cm). Designer's label at center back neckline: "Gossamer Wings" B) Skirt. Medium length. Straight cut three panel skirt gathered to fitted waistband. Straight hemline. Center back plastic zipper closure with one covered button at waistband. Unlined. Total length: 24"(61.0cm). C) Cummerbund style belt. 3" (7.6cm) wide with five length-wise tucks. Beaded oval shape buckle at one end with large hook and snap closure. Bead colors include iridescent pink and blue, clear, bronze glass beads; silver and brass beads; blue metallic ceramic beads; small ceramic stone at center. Faced with suede. Total length: 29" (73.3cm).

From Abstract: "The Vacuum-Freezing Vapor-Compression (VFVC) Process was evaluated on high salinity brackish water during the period from February 1968 through December 1969 by Colt Industries Inc., under O.S.W. Contract No. 14-01-0001-967 at Roswell, New Mexico. The 15,000 gpd VFVC test plant is mounted on a mobile trailer which was built by Colt Industries Inc. in their factory at Beloit, Wisconsin. Prior to operation at Roswell, the plant was operated at Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina to check out the system and to operate the trailer on sea water." Process Description: "A simplified diagram, Figure 2, shows both the essential components of the process and flow paths of the various streams in the system. Typical heat and mass balances are shown on Figures 3 and 4."

"Eight high-explosive charges weighing 8 to 1000 pounds were detonated in playa. Each event included 24 to 40 locations of tracer material in the expected crater region. The objective was to obtain data relating the origin of crater ejecta to its depositional location. Resulting data are presented for craters, ejecta areal densities, crater and ejecta mass quantities, tracer dispersion, and an empirical prediction model."
