Oklahoma Highway Patrol Tropper MIke Duggan said Whisenant was dead on arrived at a Midwest City hospital with head and throat injuries. The Merryman youth died en route from Midwest City Memorial Hospital to Mercy Hospital. He was being transferred to Oklahoma City for surgery. Duggan said Whisenant was making a left turn in front of Merryman,s auto when the head-on collision occurred."
