Cable is layed [sic] to about 36” deep but was raised to about 12” deep to cross the dam and forebay of the spillway. Being able to cross this structure saved the company several thousand dollars by being able to take this short cut.”

Successful Drainage of Wet Areas

Photograph of Terrell Nowka kneeling next to his homemade 3-point hook up blade and John Deere tractor. The back of the photograph proclaims, "Supervisors. Terrell Nowka, a member of the Board of Supervisors of the North Caddo SCD. Nowka was elected to the Board in 1958. He has served as supervisor since Feb. 1958, when he was appointed to fill the vacancy occurring from Ralph Ottinger's resignation. Nowka made the 3-point hook-up blade. He uses this blade for minor maintenance on terraces, waterways and roads. 10 ft. blade with 360 degree swivel. Made from old grader blades and combine parts."
