When completed in 1963, the new plant will bring to 1,375,900 kilowatts the total output of the OG&E system. Current output is 1,138,000. Six hundred yards of concrete flooring were poured in a single 10-hour operation Thursday. The floor will support huge combinations steam-gas turbines which will drive generators......The last generator installed went into operation at Mustang station in 1959. The original Horseshoe Lake station was constructed in 1924. It is the second oldest major power plant in the system.
