No bond was set for his wife, Sharon Sue, 20, who took along her four-month-old baby on the ill-fated foray against the bank. The girl may be released later, Leatherman said, so she can be with her daughter, who is now being cared for by her parents-in-law......The money, in a brown paper bag, was recovered from the car driven by Steinemetze, who was captured by Tropper George Brown five and one half miles west of Tonkawa on a country road. Photograph used for a story in the Oklahoma City Times newspaper. Caption: "Incedible! That was my reaction as I flew over Konawa Saturday and realized no one died in the destructive twister that tramplied the town Friday night. As the airplane circled the southeastern Oklahoma community, it was easy to follow the path of the storm as it moved through the heart of the business district to the northeast. A 3-block area immediatley east of the main street appeared flattened. Roofs of several large metal buildings were hammered into the ground......Plate glass windows were shattered, doors were blown off their hinges, and the winds apparently swept through the interiors wrecking fixtures and scattered merchandise. The large buildings - city hall and several churches - were stil standing, but damage was severe. The town was alive with workers attempting to dig their way through the debris."
