Caption: "A crowd of about 80 racial demonstrators - some demonstrators - some Negro, some white - returned Saturday to the lobby of the Cravens Building, 119 N Robinson, where a week ago nine persons were arrested on complaints of disorderly conduct. This time there were no arrests. And, as has always been the case in the past, there was no violence. A few demonstrators sang quietly, some prayed, but mostly stood silently. Target of the demonstration was the Anna Maude Cafeteria...............Robert N. Smith, a partner in the cafeteria, called his attorney, Russell Johnson, about 11:30 a.m., a half hour after the demonstrators began assemling. The cafetera stood firm on its policy of not allowing Negroes to be served, but agreed that the demonstrators sitting at tables could remain so long as regular patrons during the noon rush hour could be seated. Carmon C. Harris, attorney for the building management, who last Saturday filed complaints of disorderly conduct against nine demonstrators, was on hand to observe the proceedings. Present among the demonstrators Saturday was Rev. Robert G. McDole, assisstant pastor of Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church. Father McDole was cleared …

The meeting in Calvary Baptist Church, NE 2 and Walnut, was attended by about 100 persons, both white and Negro. After the meeting they marched on the Caverns Building, where the cafeteria is located, and pent 2 1/2 hours in the lobby. There was no arrests, and there was no violence."
