"The purpose of this study was to collect and analyze locational data on all branch maufacturing plants established in Dallas County in 1954, 1955, and 1956; these data were acquired through personal interviews in 1957. For comparative purposes the same data on branch plants established in 1959 were obtained in 1960. The following elements of the locational process were determined and analyzed: 1. The purpose of this study was to make as analysis of the relationship between dominative-integrative classroom behavior and the mean scores on selected measures of socio-civic attitudes of students at North Texas State College preparing to teach the social studies during the year 1960-61.

More specifically, the problem was fourfold in nature: 1. To study the professional characteristics of the Texas elementary principal through an analysis of factors related to (1) his position, {2) his professional characteristics, and (3) his major responsibilities. 2. To evaluate certain aspects of the status, thought, and practice of the Texas elementary principal in light of what is considered most desirable in recent literature in the field to determine to what extent the Texas principal reflects the moat desirable characteristics. 3. To compare certain aspects of the present principalship with similar characteristics as found in previous studies of the Texas elementary principalship in order to determine trends. 4. To compare certain aspects of the Texas elementary principalship with the same aspects of the elementary principalship as described in a recent national study, in order to determine similarities and differences.

This study was conducted in an effort to determine whether or not the degree of growth in practical skills, personal and social development, and knowledge of subject matter content which an adolescent demonstrates is significantly related to the assumption of leadership roles in the classroom.

It is the purpose of this study to utilize three psychometric measures in order to quantitatively assess the group of subjects on the basis of the trait heterosexuality, as measured by the Edwards Personal Preference Schedule, and in turn make predictions on the basis of these data as to choices made on the Bonney-Fessenden Sociograph.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of segregation on the flexibility of individuals in the Negro and Anglo-American ethnic groups and to investigate the relationship between variations in flexibility and sociometric choices within the peer group.

The problem of this study is threefold: (1) to determine whether the sick leave policies and practices differ significantly between school districts of different sizes; (2) to determine whether there is significant relationship between the number of days of sick leave allowed and the number of days taken by teachers; and (3) to determine whether significant trends in sick leave policies and practices can be detected between the years 1957 and 1960.

This study will be concerned with evaluating the degree of acceptance of rural students in an urban school. Because of increased interaction between the two groups on account of better modes of transportation, consolidation of schools, and a general trend in creating a more homogenous environment between the two groups the following null hypotheses have been formulated: 1. That there will be no significant difference in acceptance between the rural and urban pupils. 2. That there will be no significant differences in the number of cross-sex choices given or received by the two groups. 3. That there will be no significant discrimination between rural and urban school mates in clique formation.

To determine economic status of basketball coaches of Class AA high schools of Texas. 5. To determine information concerning the status of basketball coaches within the school system. 6. To determine information concerning the community status of coaches of the study.

Concerning the present study, if in the test result of psychotic patients there is some distortion of reality concepts, as is generally expected, then their scores on any personality scale should vary considerably from norms established on the same test by "normal" subjects.

This study was undertaken in the belief that students of psychology possess a significantly greater degree of empathic ability than do students of other college majors. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is any significant difference in empathic ability between psychology students and business students as a group.
