Ran Stop Sign: Patrolman AZ. S. McLaughlin said Miss Clara E. McCurley, 17, of 340 SE 52, ran a stop sign and slammed into the motor-scooter, driven by Charles Tharp, 38, of 616 N Francis. Her car then careened northeastward. Miss Streetman leaped from the street onto the sidewalk, but was still struck by the out-of-control car. Tossed Into Yard She was tossed into a near by yard, and the car followed her, tearing up a parking meter and the fence en route. Doctors at St. Anthony hospital said Miss Streetman was unhurt. Tharp suffered cuts and bruises . Miss McCurley was given a ticket charging her with running a stop sign."
