[Petroleum Building, Midland, 1959]

Photograph of the Petroleum Building in Midland, which has a Gothic-like facade with short spires and textured elements along the top edge of the building. Between each window are small ornamental relief pieces, and along the ground floor, the windows and entryways are widely arched with subtle and decorative tracery elements surrounding each arch. The similarly-styled Yucca Theater, to the north of the Petroleum Building, is far shorter but also has Gothic-like decoration along its front facade. Numerous cars are parked along the streets and in the parking lot in front of the Petroleum Building, which is for the county courthouse.
