Carswell advises that due to reminiscing at Christmastime he is writing to show his gratitude for the kindness and friendships of Mugs' Dad and Mother, Grandfather and Grandmother, expressing his gratitude to Mugs in their absence and wishing for him a Merry Christmas.

A letter written to T. N. Carswell from Claude Lloyd, dated December 6, 1957. Lloyd describes his Christmas adventures with his children and grandchildren and requests that Carswell send a Poinsettia to Claudine and Ollie Lena Olsen for him. He then reminisces about the last Christmas Carswell and he had together shooting Roman Candles at each other, "you and Gib against Jake and me" (Jake [J. D. Sandefer, Jr.], Gib [Sandefer, Gilbert Bryan]).

Crane explains that each year she sends a message to Grace with greetings for Carswell and any of the other Abilene friends who are still there. She advises that now she is sending the note to Carswell and asking that he give her Christmas love to Grace and all the Sandefers. She requests that he or Grace send the dates on her Grandmother's grave, tell her Abilene news and then offers the season's greetings. Moore instructs Blackburn to request of Subject 17095 to report every six months.

A letter written to Mrs. Mildred Nicholson, Office of the Democratic Executive Committee, Dallas, Texas from Edward J. Drake, Dallas 1, Texas, dated November 12, 1957. Copy to Miss Peggy Carswell, Dallas, Texas and to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Abilene, Texas. Drake advises Nicholson to place the name of Miss Peggy Carswell in the file as "one to be notified for all Conservative efforts" in their precinct and county Conservative projects. In a handwritten postscript Drake thanks Carswell for writing.

Blackburn advises Stone regarding a recommendation by Mr. Carswell recommending Subject 17095 be released from reporting. She requests a notification of their decision and advises of an enclosed monthly report for this parolee.

Typewritten at the bottom of the page is correspondence from Blackburn to Mr. Carswell advising him to return the supervisory material to their office, that the Subject has been transferred to Florida and she expresses their appreciation for the cooperation and assistance by him in this matter.
