The back of the photograph proclaims, "Excellent condition of native grass left of fence has been accomplished by treating brush and deferred grazing. The pasture to the left of the fence was sprayed by airplane in June of 1956 with 2 lbs. of 2-4-5-T per acre, and again with 1 lb. per acre in June of 1957.
