Postcard from Ralph, Helen, and Daris to Mrs. Minnie Owens, discussing their travels, including visiting a cave, seeing some friends in San Antonio, and their plans to stay in Kerrville until Sunday. The front of the postcard features a photograph of a large cavern with high-ceilings and a pit in the center of the ground. The cave is illuminated by lights placed among the rocks and rock formations. At the back of the cave, nestled in a crevice high up the rock wall, a cross shines brightly. The name of the cavern, "The Great Cathedral," is printed at the top of the postcard, along with the location.

The image on the postcard is of the Atami Hotel and "Atami Hotel, Atami Hot Springs" is printed on the front along with some Japanese characters. The correspondence on the back reads "Dearest Mother - We spent a wonderful three days at this hotel. We were able to get European style rooms for two nights. One night we stayed was in Japanese style - was [...] experience - sleeping on the floor and wearing no shoes in the room. Beautiful [scenery] and etc. [...]"
