Photograph of five girls at a beauty pageant in El Campo, Texas, headed by the Farm Bureau of Wharton County. They are standing on a wooden floor beneath a hanging set of streamers. They wear long dresses of varying colors, prints, and tailoring. From left to right, they have been identified as: unknown, Mary Dorotik (possibly Dornak), Elaine Hansen, LaVanne Ladewig, and Lillie Jensen. Hand-written text on the back of the photograph lists their names. Additionally, a small newspaper article was cut and taped to the back.
