Kempner explains that the previously discussed notes were sold to a Joseph Seinsheimer who died ten or more years prior to the time of Kempner writing the letter, with his wife dying four or five years prior.

Kempner also explains that for the land transactions that took place, any lien notes were executed to the Kempner's firm and sold by a private investor.
