Photograph of an UNIDENTIFED man standing on the top of the lower end of a discharge pipe located on the Noakes Detention Dam. The back of the photograph proclaims, "Lower end of discharge pipe. Water flowing 4 inches in pipe 130 hours after water began flowing in discharge pipe. This is small detention dam on Noakes farm. Drainage area above dam 235 acres, 5 1/2" rain fell night of May 17."

Photograph of a UNIDENFIED man kneeling in a newly constructed terrace outlet. The back of the photograph proclaims, "Terrace outlet constructed with plow, 10 ft. wide at top and 20 ft. wide at bottom, in 1948. Seeded to 50 lbs. western wheatgrass; fertilized with 200 lbs. 5-10-5. Terraces will be constructed in summer of 1949 if outlet is sodded well enough."
