The back of the photograph proclaims, “Drop inlet on Cloud Creek watershed operating after a 4.6 inch rain in 4 hours. This drop inlet is above Detention Reservoir #1. Very little of the one inch flood storage was used. A 48 inch pip is through the dam and the 280 acre drainage area had good land treatment on it.”

According to accompanying information, it is the wedding of Bill Ayres and Wini Sue McBride on June 18, 1949, and two ministers officiated, Reverend C. A. Greenwaldt, the incoming minister, and Reverend W. O. Schulze, the outgoing minister. The Kilman Studio stamp is on the back. The couple is walking down the aisle. The wedding party is still at the front of the sanctuary, and there are guests seated in the pews on either side. The bride is wearing a wedding dress with a hat and veil, and the groom is wearing a white tuxedo jacket with black pants.

[Letter from D. F. Prince to Felix H. Morales - 1949-04-18]
A letter from D. F. Prince to Felix H. Morales, informing Morales that a conflicting application has been filed by John F. Cooke. Prince suggests that Morales contact Cooke and inquire about the possibility of Cooke withdrawing his application. Prince cautions Morales not to offer Cooke money to withdraw or to reimburse him for expenses. The letter also contains a brief summary of the application filed by Cooke for a radio station in Houston, Texas on April 15, 1949.
