McKenzie requests of Northcut to send telegrams immediately to his representatives in Austin urging that they "kill" the Vicks Senate amendment to House Bill 84. McKenzie asks Northcut to encourage others to send telegrams. The reverse side includes answer written by TNC [T. N. Carswell] dated June 27, 1949; "To require L. B. [Liquor Board] to face license in court with evidence before cancellation of license. Seems but fair - hence ranks encouraged Tippen to favor."
