Photograph of sorghum planted for non-competitive cover in preparation for seeding to side oats grama that will be drilled in the early spring [of 1945]. Sorghum was planted after harvesting small grains. Sideoats grama will be sown with native grass seed drilled in 36 inch rows and cultivated for seed production.
