He moved to Carmen, OK., where he entered high school, graduating in 1917. He entered the University of Oklahoma that autumn and enlisted in the army in the second semester, serving in the coast artillery. After his discharge, he started teaching. He is a graduate if Northwestern College at Alva. During the last 20 years he has served as class room teacher, principal of elementary schools, athletic director, principle of high school and county superintendent."
