Postcard of the Pall Mall Room and Cocktail Lounge in the Hotel Raleigh in Washington D.C. A handwritten note addressed to Miss Helen H. Aten from Woodrow W. Aten says "Sun Morn. Howdy- you see you are cutting down on the use of writing paper therefore I return the same. This time we made the grade of getting a place to stay. The card shows the lobby. Last night we took a boat ride up or down the Potomac. It is now 8:40 and we plan on going to see the monuments etc. This hotel is quite nice but rather old. So long. Woodrow."
