This thesis is the result of analysis conducted on the income tax systems of thirty-one states and supported a recommendation for a Texas income tax act.

"The purpose of this study will be to picture the three-fold aspect of the C.C.C. educational program. This will be done in five chapters. This, the first chapter, will describe the conditions leading up to the creation of the C.C.C. It will show how education became the prime motivation of the whole C.C.C. and it will show how the permanency of the C.C.C. depends on the type of education that is evolved. Then, chapters two, three and four will analyze the three phases of C.C.C. education. These chapters will be concerned with (1) leisure time activities, (2) vocational education, and (3) academic education. The final chapter will deal with the social and economic results of the three-fold educational program in the C.C.C. Through the entire study there will be a definite attempt to establish certain results and to evaluate them according to the gains that have been made in C.C.C. education since the beginning in 1933."-- leaves 1-2.

It is the purpose of this study to classify the high schools in the State of Texas offering accredited courses in sociology, and to make an analysis and evaluation of the textbooks that are on the recommended list for use in the secondary schools.

This study attempts to present a brief survey of the major aspects of consumer credit in the United States today: credit institutions in general, co-operative and non cooperative consumer credit agencies, and the regulation of such agencies. A special chapter is devoted to consumer credit in Texas, with emphasis upon the fight which certain Texas cities are making against the loan-shark evil.

This thesis is a study of the Weatherford Municipal Light and Power Plant. An attempt has been made to trace the history of electric service in Weatherford, Texas, and to reveal why this present, and previous, service has culminated in a municipally owned system.
