The first letter, which is from Dr. Meek, requests the advice of Dr. Bodansky concerning changes to specific aspects of the Society's publications. The second letter is a response from Dr. Meyer Bodansky, in which he suggests that the pricing of the publications might be too "modest". Dr. Bodansky also assures Dr. Meek that he will continue to consider his letter.

Note to Dr. John W. Spies that concerns him seeing Dr. Meyer Bodansky before he leaves. The note, which is dated October 18, 1940, has the initials "J.E.W." at the bottom, as well as a short handwritten note.
