[Interview with Gertrude Johnson]

Photocopy of a transcript of an interview with Gertrude Johnson, a long time resident of Deep Eddy, Texas. She talks about her work with the church and school in the area and how at one point the garden that she grew produced a 17.5 pound sweet potato. She also mentions her time as a teacher in the Eanes area and the frequency of which entire classes would not show up to school. At the bottom of the page there is a typed recipe for "Mrs. Johnson's unbaked cookies" as well as handwritten text that seems to be listing out the names of other families who lives in the area.
