The apparent argument is that all four components must be taught and changed before a person can truly become a christian. "Intellect changed by testimony...affections changed by evidence...will changed by thinking on these...these all lead to obedience...faith purifies the heart...repentance changes the life...confession changed the allegiance...baptism puts one into changed state."
