Two rounds were plowed to the ridges the first year. This year the entire interval was planted. Photograph of Pasture contour ridges after a heavy rainfall. The back of the photograph proclaims, "Pasture contour ridges, spaced about 60 feet apart, after a heavy rain. The water had risen to the top of the ridges and in many cases overflowed. An earth dam is visible in the center right, and terraces can be seen in the field in the foreground."
