Kahn Memorial Hospital, Marshall, Texas

Color halftone postcard of the Kahn Memorial Hospital, in Marshall, Texas. The image was probably taken in the late 1930's or early 1940's. The building was opened in 1928. The card is printed on linen style paper. A note on the back says "Our trip, 1934-1937," but the code on the front of the card dates it to 1942. The view shows the red brick hospital building of two-stories on raised basement, but most of the building is obscured by tree branches. Two people are sitting on a bench in front of the left portion of the building. Printed in the white border below the image is the title, "Kahn Memorial Hospital, Marshall, Texas," and the code "2B482-N." Printed on the back between the message and address sections: "Genuine CURTEICH, Chicago, 'C. T. American Art,' Post Card (Reg. U. S. Pat. Off.)" There is no postmark on the back of the card.
