The multiple windows on the section next to the door indicate that part of the building was probably a screened area. There are multiple trees along the banks of the water. At the bottom of the image in white letters is the title, "Marshall Country Club, Marshall, Texas" on the left, and on the right "Howard's Stud, Marshall, Texa." There is no postmark or message on the back of the card. Stamped in small letters on the left edge of the card: "Pub. by Photo & Art Postal Card Co., 444 Broadway, N.Y."
