Coach Preston is standing fourth from the left in the back row. The only identified team member is Sulton John Boyd, who is on the back row, second from the left. Sulton would later play football for and graduate from North Texas State Teachers College.

Lewisville High School Football Team with Coach Lee Preston

1921 Lewisville High School football team coach, Lee Preston, with unidentified team members arrayed in offensive playing positions in front of the school. The only identified member is Sulton John Boyd, third from the right. Sulton was the grandson of Susan McCombs Boyd and the son of George Taylor Boyd. A natural athlete, he played both basketball and football. Sulton graduated from North Texas State University, teaching there for a brief time period, later worked for the National Labor Relations Board. He also ran a farm that was west of Krum on U.S. 380.
